For the past 15 years, Emma has worked in Melbourne’s outer east, where she’s developed a strong connection with the local community. She has a special interest in feline medicine and ultrasonography, supported by further studies at the University of Sydney.

Emma shares her home with her husband Jamie, their children Hannah and Sam, and their pets—Freya, a retired assistance dog, and two adopted cats, Slinky and Peggy.

In her spare time, Emma enjoys gardening, reading, and jogging. Her ideal Sunday starts with a run around the Tan with Freya, followed by coffee and Borek at the South Melbourne Market with her family.

Lucy

Receptionist

Lucy is the heart of our veterinary reception, known for her organized and caring approach. Her supportive and welcoming manner creates a warm atmosphere for both clients and staff. A valued team member, Lucy has formed lasting relationships with clients and is deeply committed to their pets’ well-being.

Over the years, Lucy has had the privilege of watching many pets grow from their first visit to their twilight years. Her passion for helping clients provide the best care for their companions shines through in every interaction.

Living locally with her husband Tony, Lucy shares her home with their giant German Shepherd, Anton, and Nugget, the “boss” of the household—her Jack Russell Terrier. Outside of work, Lucy enjoys the gym and exploring local nature trails.

Siobhan

Head Nurse

Siobhan’s love for animals began at a young age and extends beyond cats and dogs. She has cared for unique pets like her bearded dragon, Phoenix, and her current snake, Stifler. Siobhan enjoys working with all animals, big and small, and especially loves helping local wildlife brought into the clinic.

In 2024, Siobhan completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and is excited to continue her journey in animal care. She plans to expand her knowledge by traveling to South Africa to complete a Veterinary Wildlife Course, combining her passion for animals with wildlife conservation.

Outside of work, Siobhan enjoys snow skiing in winter and soaking up the sunshine in summer, always making the most of her time outdoors.

Eme

Nurse

Eme has always had a deep love for animals, growing up surrounded by them and developing a passion for their care and wellbeing. Currently completing her Certificate II in Animal Care, she plans to pursue a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing to expand her skills further.

At the clinic, Eme brings her passion for animal care to work every day, treating each pet with the same love and attention she gives her own. Her goal is to create positive, stress-free experiences for both pets and their owners.

At home, Eme is kept busy by her energetic kelpie, Koda, and her horse, Banjo. Their adventurous spirits present a fun challenge, helping her better understand the unique needs of different animals.

Josa

Nurse

Josa has always had a deep love for animals, from caring for her family cat, Elsa, to rescuing injured and stray animals. After volunteering as a wildlife carer, rescuer, and transporter in 2022, she realized a career in the veterinary industry was her true calling.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor in Animal and Veterinary Biosciences, Josa has gained valuable experience as a Nurse Assistant at Westside Desexing Clinic, a low-cost desexing clinic for cats. Her passion for animal care drives her to help those in need.

Now, Josa is excited to join the Warrandyte Vet Clinic team as a Veterinary Nurse. She’s eager to continue learning, providing compassionate care, and growing her skills in a team that shares her commitment to animal welfare.
