After completion of her Science degree from Monash Uni in 2012, Courtney’s interest in physiology and pharmacology combined with her lifelong love of animals saw her achieving a second university qualification with her Veterinary degree from Melbourne University in 2016. Whilst Courtney enjoys assisting clients to welcome and integrate a new pet into their family life, her special passion is internal medicine – exploring and researching medical options before surgical ones – giving her patients peace of mind in all aspects of their pet’s care.
Courtney’s interests when she is not in the clinic are diverse and include Winters spent snowboarding at Mt Buller, yoga and Mexican food, playing the guitar and musical theatre.
Graduating in 2001 from the University of Melbourne, Dr Emma brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our team. In addition to her veterinary degree, her passion for cats has inspired her to complete further studies in feline medicine and ultrasonic imaging – aiding in the diagnosis of all medical conditions. With over 20 years experience, Dr Emma enjoys helping animals of all walks of life and strengthening the bond between clients and their pets. From welcoming a new pet to the family, to managing patients with multiple long-term illnesses, we know Dr Emma will support your pet throughout their entire life journey. Outside of clinic life, Dr Emma shares her home with her beautiful young family, her pet cat Millie and even has some special feathered friends- a flock of curious chickens! In her spare time she enjoys gardening, running and travel.
Lucy’s organised and caring approach to the client’s experience put her at the forefront of our veterinary reception. Her encouraging and supporting manner is appreciated by clients and staff alike. She has her husband and two beautiful daughters at home and of course her big German Shepherd Aston and Nugget the Jack Russell.
Known for her gentle and caring nature, Kim has become a valued member of the regular staff since joining the team in early 2015. After completing her nursing studies, Kim gained a special interest in surgery and anaesthesia, and when not in the clinic she loves to be horse riding, achieving awards in calisthenics competitions or cuddling with her cats Sassie and Luna.
Carly is a motivated and passionate veterinary nurse who prides herself in providing our clients and patients with outstanding veterinary care. Carly works hard to make your pet’s stay with us as close to home as she can. Her gentle and caring nature seems to win over the hearts of our canine and feline patients easily, and we love how much our patients adore her! In her spare time she enjoys camping and hiking outdoors with her husband, Liam. At home she cares for their two boisterous Border Collies, Darcy and Ruby.
Sarah is currently studying a Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing at La Trobe University, and prides herself on her education and assisting our team to provide the best possible care for her patients. Sarah thoroughly enjoys all the opportunities that vet nursing has to offer, but has a particular passion for critical care nursing and returning pets to their families after a long hospital stay. Sarah is happiest around animals and cares for an array of fur kids at home; her three cats, Loki, Link and Luna, and her two horses, Maisey and Ivy. When she isn’t working or studying hard, Sarah enjoys horse riding and surrounding herself with nature.
Izzy has cared for many animals since childhood including dogs, cats and turtles – so it is no surprise that her life’s work is now to look after your beloved animals! Izzy endeavours to provide our clients with the peace of mind that their pets specific needs will be met, and enjoys creating meaningful relationships with her patients and their guardians. She truly enjoys guiding our clients through the fun and challenges of pet ownership. There are many aspects of veterinary nursing that Izzy enjoys, but she has a passion for delivering extra special care to our critical care patients in hospital. Izzy’s dynamic combination of attention to detail and her caring approach to animals is invaluable to our patients recovering from surgery. Her passion for animal welfare and her kindhearted character has been a wonderful addition to our team!

Chelsea’s childhood has always involved animals, and her ability to assist our clients to foster their bond with their pets is second to none. Taking care of pets and providing a high standard of nursing care has always been close to her heart, and she loves giving our patients an extra cuddle in hospital. Chelsea is a talented football player and enjoys training and spending time with family in her spare time.
Her name itself may be explanation enough. The clinic’s resident feline – and in her own opinion, practice supervisor – came to us in 2008 as an expectant single mother. After delivery of her kittens, our Melbourne Hill Road address became her place to call home.
